On Saturday November 26th grab the entire family (and any lingering holiday visitors too!) and head on down to the New Canaan Nature Center! You won’t want to miss this awesome annual event, a long-time favorite for both members & guests. Starting at 10:30 am join the NCNC Naturalists for a healthy, invigorating Trail Trek to work off that holiday meal. While “waddling” the trails, we’ll search for some of nature’s most treasured gifts (apple trees, maple trees & honey bees to name a few) and learn why the end of autumn may not be quite as quiet as you may think. In fact, autumn is a busy time of year for many wild animals such as deer, squirrels & birds!

Join us at Pet Pantry, 21 Grove Street on Sunday, May 22, 2016 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm for a FUN-raiser for pet lovers and the whole family.
A full afternoon of activities are planned: Fun classes and contests for your dog, exhibitors, professional trainers available for behavior questions, veterinarians, family and pet portraits, caricature drawings, a petting zoo, pony rides, art activities and a DJ to keep it festive. All proceeds to benefit Strays & Others and Adopt A Dog in New Canaan

2015 Holiday Stroll – Another Great New Canaan Event

Under clear skies New Canaan’s business pulled out all the “stops” and residents of all ages came out to shop, dine and watch a wonderful Holiday Show! From the twinkling lights up in the trees to the blinking of children’s toys on the streets the Friday evening party had a magical quality about it. Santa was back in town meeting children of all ages at Houlihan Lawrence on Saturday and residents were able to watch unique ice carvings being made, listen to a brass quartet and grab a fresh waffle. Food Revolution Saturday May 16th

The Jamie Oliver Food Revolution returns to New Canaan, CT on Saturday, May 16th between 10.00am – 12.00pm, once again getting kids and parents excited about FOOD. The which involves walking on a food trail around New Canaan, will attract kids and parents from all over sampling new and different foods. It will be informative and a lot of fun. Every child will walk away with a ‘Bravery Certificate’ and ‘Wooden Spoon’ The event will once again include live music and giveaways.
