Come join a New Canaan tradition at the 2017 Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday April 1st! Festivities begin at 9:00 am with the Hunt starting at 10:15!
This magical experience takes place on the historic property and sprawling grounds of Waveny Park. It includes 10,000 Easter Eggs, the Dixie Land Band, bounce houses, bunny ears, face painting, photo opportunities with Mr. Bunny and lots and lots of cookies and cupcakes!

Join with family & friends for this festive 5K road race/1 mile walk or stroll benefiting two awesome New Canaan organizations; Waveny Care Center and the NCPS Launch Program. Kids 8 & under will not want to miss the Santa Dash with a cool prize compliments of Cuisinart. Ho Ho Hope you’ll join us for this 4th Annual community-wide event! Free t-shirt and Santa hat for first 200 registrants.

On Saturday November 26th grab the entire family (and any lingering holiday visitors too!) and head on down to the New Canaan Nature Center! You won’t want to miss this awesome annual event, a long-time favorite for both members & guests. Starting at 10:30 am join the NCNC Naturalists for a healthy, invigorating Trail Trek to work off that holiday meal. While “waddling” the trails, we’ll search for some of nature’s most treasured gifts (apple trees, maple trees & honey bees to name a few) and learn why the end of autumn may not be quite as quiet as you may think. In fact, autumn is a busy time of year for many wild animals such as deer, squirrels & birds!

Join us at Pet Pantry, 21 Grove Street on Sunday, May 22, 2016 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm for a FUN-raiser for pet lovers and the whole family.
A full afternoon of activities are planned: Fun classes and contests for your dog, exhibitors, professional trainers available for behavior questions, veterinarians, family and pet portraits, caricature drawings, a petting zoo, pony rides, art activities and a DJ to keep it festive. All proceeds to benefit Strays & Others and Adopt A Dog in New Canaan
