Filling in the Blanks fights childhood hunger by providing children in need with weekend meals. FITB serves over 7,000 children with weekend meal bags, 5 school-based pantries and The Fresh Food on the Move mobile food pantry. FITB purchases 99% of the food for these programs, and events like the Unite to Fight 5K play a crucial role in meeting the increased needs of local communities.
