Annual Benefit | Reimagining Architecture

October 15, 2022 @ 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm

$500

On October 15, Grace Farms Foundation will celebrate its 7th anniversary with its annual benefit, an immersive evening with dinner and dancing in the SANAA-designed River building among a dynamic fall landscape and community of supporters. This year’s theme, Reimagining Architecture, invites us to come together, rethink our relationship to the built environment, and contemplate ethical choices that create a more humane future.

On behalf of the Grace Farms Foundation Board of Directors and event Co-Chairs, two distinguished honorees will be recognized for their innovative contributions to the Design for Freedom movement:

Nina Cooke John | Founding Principal, of Studio Cooke John Architecture + Design

Debbie Propst | President of Global Retail, MillerKnoll

Since Grace Farms’ founding as a new kind of public space that brings together people from all ages and backgrounds, we have reimagined architecture and its relationship to nature and people. This relationship has galvanized new outcomes locally and globally, from providing food relief to those in our community to advocating for our environment and advancing the ambitious goal of removing forced labor from our architecture. This year, against the backdrop of an expansive preserve and fall sky, we invite you to engage with possibilities and consider a world where sustainability extends beyond architecture’s impact on our environment and people.

This event raises sustaining funds for Grace Farms Foundation’s interdisciplinary programs, including the Design for Freedom movement, initiated by Grace Farms to eliminate forced labor from the building materials supply chain.

Reimagining Architecture is Co-Chaired by Abby Bangser, Angela Mwanza, and Silvia Baldini.

Join us at the Grace Farms annual benefit, as we rethink our relationship with the built environment and design a more humane future.

Grace Farms Foundation’s interdisciplinary humanitarian mission is to pursue peace through five initiatives — nature, arts, justice, community, and faith — and Grace Farms, a SANAA-designed site for convening people across sectors. Our stake in the ground is to end modern slavery and gender-based violence, and create more grace and peace in our local and global communities.
