New Canaan 4th of July Fireworks
Held at Waveny Park on the 4th of July, Gates open at 5pm
Bouncy Houses, Food Trucks and LIVE MUSIC from Mind the Gap and New Canaan Town Band
Grab your picnic blanket and beach chair and join your New Canaan neighbors as we gather to celebrate our Nation’s birthday with festive music, food trucks and fireworks!

July 4th at Waveny Park (Rain Dates July 5th or July 12th)

Parking & Entry Info

• Cars: Enter through South Avenue entrance. Lapham Road is exit-only.
• Display your pass on the car dashboard — one pass per vehicle.
• Walkers & NCHS parkers: Bring your paid pass with you for entry into Waveny Park.

Important Notes

• This event is 100% funded by pass sales — every group needs a pass.
• No dogs, sparklers, fireworks of any kind, or candles are permitted.
• Passes are for New Canaan residents only

Pass Information

Cost:

• May 1–July 3: $35 per car or walking group
• Day-of (July 4): $40 per car or walking group
  Available ONLY at Steve Benko Pool on July 4th from 11:00 AM–3:00 PM

How to Purchase:
    Online

• Available May 1–June 25
• Passes purchased by June 20 will be mailed to your New Canaan address.
• After June 20, passes must be picked up at the Parks & Recreation Department.

Volunteers will be selling passes at pop-up locations in downtown New Canaan (June 21st and June 28th)
