The Chamber’s top priority in holding this event is shopper and employee safety. Approval to hold the two day sale came from the Office of The First Selectman, Police Commission as well as New Canaan’s Health, and Planning & Zoning Departments and is allowed under current state guidelines.
Vendor applications were extended to New Canaan based business who have participated in our traditional Sidewalk Sale in past years. All vendors are current members of the Chamber. Booths will be spread out on the street to allow for spacing that will encourage social distancing. The goal of having the event over a two day period is to reduce crowd density and create a comfortable experience for shoppers.
All participants will be asked to wear a mask while shopping on the street or in the stores.
