‘Terra Nova’ is the story of that fatal expedition, and of Scott’s the discovery that the Norwegian explorer Amundsen had beaten him to the Pole.
The New Canaan sponsor merchants and the New Canaan Recreation Department hosts the Waveny Concert Series each summer. Bands, mostly from Fairfield County, perform for New Canaan residents at Waveny Park every Wednesday night from June 12 – August 28.
