The program will feature music that will warm your soul and fill your heart with the grandeur of works by Mozart, Ravel, Bach, Amy Beach, Gershwin and Wieniawski.
The New Canaan Recreation Department in co-sponsorship with local New Canaan merchants will sponsor open air music concerts on the patio at Waveny House this summer. The concerts will feature a variety of musical groups many of whom are from the Fairfield County area. All of the concerts are open to New Canaan residents free of charge and held from 7:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday evening’s beginning in June.
The New Canaan sponsor merchants and the New Canaan Recreation Department hosts the Waveny Concert Series each summer. Bands, mostly from Fairfield County, perform for New Canaan residents at Waveny Park every Wednesday night from June 12 – August 28.
