The New Canaan Recreation Department and the Department of Public Works are proud to sponsor this Fishing Derby at Mill Pond. The Event would not be possible without support from the New Canaan PBA, numerous local merchants and service organizations. On Saturday April 21st Kids will try to catch the biggest and best trout. Children ages 15 and younger (ages 10 and younger must be accompanied by an adult) will compete for special prizes awarded in several categories including the first boy and first girl to catch a fish and the largest fish caught. Registration begins at 8:30 am.
