Spirit Squad/Dance Team Summer Camp

Spirit Squad Summer Camp, in partnership with the nationally ranked Sacred Heart University Dance Team and NC Dance Clinics, will be held August 5–7 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at New Canaan Country School. Open to dancers entering grades 1–8, the three-day camp gives campers the chance to learn from Division I college dancers and coaches while improving their skills in pom, jazz, and hip hop. Campers will work on technique, including turns, jumps, kicks, flexibility, and across-the-floor progressions, take part in team-building activities, and get an inside look at what it’s like to be on a college dance team.
