Practice sustainability and extend the life of your textiles at Grace Farms with artist, teacher, and author of Mending Matters and Make Thrift Mend, Katrina Rodabaugh. This workshop explores basic stitches and patterns; how to repair a garment based on fabric, thread, utility, beauty, design elements, and more; and culminates in the chance to repair a garment in need of mending. Basic sewing and stitching skills are required.
Grace Farms will provide 100% cotton thread, metal needles, wooden ruler, and a handout. Participants may bring personal tools or use the provided shared tools.
