Opening Reception for 42nd Annual Member Show

All are welcome at the opening reception for the Carriage Barn Arts Center’s annual member show. This exhibit kicks off the 2019/20 season and celebrates the range, interests, and talents of artist members working across all subjects, styles, and media. Artwork is for sale and one piece will be awarded the Betty Barker Award and a $250 prize. The award was established in 2017 in honor of Betty Barker (1920-1997), a prolific and accomplished artist who was the driving force in establishing the Carriage Barn Arts Center.

The 2019 member show coincides with the Carriage Barn’s “Living With Art” series of workshops, activities, artist talks and other special events. Three exhibiting members will be selected to participate in an art and design-themed panel discussion with award-winning designer Chris Roughan of Roughan Interiors on September 18.
