Put on your costume and come downtown. The New Canaan Chamber of Commerce’s annual Halloween Block Party returns to Elm Street on Sunday, October 25, from noon to 2:00 pm.
This is one of our favorite afternoons of the year. Local businesses open their doors to trick-or-treaters, and kids fill the street in everything from homemade capes to full Oompa Loompa makeup. Parents and grandparents dress up too, and so do plenty of dogs. Bring the whole family, pets included.
Elm Street will be closed to cars for the afternoon, so you can walk the whole block without watching for traffic. Little ones can take their time, strollers have room to move, and everyone gets a good look at the costumes.
School of Rock will play spooky tunes throughout the afternoon.
The event is free, and all ages are welcome. Grab a bag for candy and meet us on Elm Street.
