Bundle up and hit the trails for the 2026 New Canaan Winter Hiking Challenge! Explore seven of our beautiful preserves—Browne, Watson–Symington, Livingston–Higley, Still Pond, Colhoun, Firefly Sanctuary, and the GreenLink Trail—plus Bristow Bird Sanctuary. Snap a selfie at each property’s designated sign and share your photos on social media using #NCLTwinterhike2026 and tag @nc_land_trust. Entries are due by 5 PM on February 28, 2026. Participants who visit four properties will receive Land Trust swag, while those who complete all eight will earn swag, a certificate of completion, and entry into a raffle for the New Canaan Land Trust Grand Prize Gift Basket.
