2015 Holiday Stroll – Another Great New Canaan Event

Under clear skies New Canaan’s business pulled out all the “stops” and residents of all ages came out to shop, dine and watch a wonderful Holiday Show! From the twinkling lights up in the trees to the blinking of children’s toys on the streets the Friday evening party had a magical quality about it. Santa was back in town meeting children of all ages at Houlihan Lawrence on Saturday and residents were able to watch unique ice carvings being made, listen to a brass quartet and grab a fresh waffle. New Canaan Artisans Fall Boutique

The New Canaan Artisans annual Holiday Boutique will be on Fri., 13th from 9:00-2:00 in Morrill Hall at St. Mark’s Church, 111 Oenoke Ridge Rd., New Canaan. By popular demand we’re featuring an array of unique Christmas ornaments. Handcrafted fashion and decorative creations offered are hats, scarves, cowls, stuffed animals and infant and children’s sweaters. Needlepoint, extraordinary doll clothes, crafted wooden items, lighted table top trees and the popular Gourmet Table are just a few. Make your shopping FUN! Choose a gift or a treat for yourself. Come and bring friends. Strollers welcome, Free parking and admission.

New this year, A Preview Party on Thurs., Nov. 12th from 6:00-8:00.$10.00 will be charged for this “first choice” opportunity.

It is time to start preparing the for New Canaan’s Holiday Lights Display! But before the Lights can be turned on we will need the financial support from the residents of New Canaan. The Chamber of Commerce does not receive financial support from the town budget and relies solely on the generosity of the residents and merchants in town. Your contribution would be greatly appreciated!

Filling in the Blanks Fights Childhood Hunger by Providing Needy Children With Meals on the Weekends

Filling in the Blanks would like your help packing bags for children in need.

We are holding a community packing day on the following days and need your help!
This is a great opportunity to bring your kids, friends and co-workers and do some good.

30 Volunteers are needed for each two hour shift. Please email sknight@fillingintheblanks.org if you can help out this important mission!

Holiday Stroll Kick off Party

Please join us on Wednesday October 28th from 5:30 – 7:30 pm us for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres as we celebrate the kick off of the holiday season. As Bankwell is our gracious host, the party is free of charge for Chamber Members.
