Historical Society – Summer Exhibits

“Historic Barns: Yesterday & Today” Photographs by Kip Farrell will be on display starting May 21. Featuring photographs of New Canaan barns by author, photographer, and historic barn expert, Kip Farrell, as well as background on the local barn preservation ordinance. The exhibit runs through September.

“The Cartoonists of Silvermine: Past and Present” is an historical retrospective exhibiting over seventy reproductions of seventeen cartoonists who at one time worked and/or lived in Silvermine from 1900 through the present. Exhibit runs through August 15th.

The Exhibits will be open to the public on a walk-in basis: Town House Parlor Room, Tuesday-Friday 9:30-4:00, Saturday 9:30-12:00. $5 Suggested donation.
