The Art of Cyanotype workshop (basics)

March 16 @ 10:30 am - 1:30 pm

$80 – $95

Artist & instructor Fruma Markowitz returns for a spring intro to Art of Cyanotype workshop

The perfect opportunity to learn the process, experiment and develop your skills. Create prints on paper using the cyanotype historical photographic process.
Learn how the non-toxic cyanotype chemicals (potassium ferricyanide and ferric ammonium citrate) react in exposure to sun/UV light to produce permanent, magical blue and white images.
Use botanical specimens and common objects to produce one-of-a-kind compositions involving both random and intentional mark-marking. The results are surprising, ethereal and delightful!
Create a 12” X 12” cloth cyanotype flag with any type of design which they can take home to display.

Fruma will also teach an advanced cyanotype workshop on Sunday March 17 — sign up for one day or both.

Members: $80 / Non-members $95 (limited to 10 participants, includes all materials)
