It is arguably Shakespeare’s best-loved and most well-known work, but how well do we really know the star-cross’d lovers? What about the history of the play? And – were they really in love?
Explore these questions and more with seasoned Shakespearean scholars, actors and educators from Fairfield County’s own Shakespeare on the Sound. Nick Urda and John Love will guide attendees through the play in an interactive presentation, hoping to show why Juliet & Romeo might be a more fitting title.
This program comes just in time for the company’s performance of the play in their 28th annual summer production, at Rowayton’s Pinkney Park, June 12-30th 2024.
