Author and photographer Ngoc Mihn Ngo celebrates the natural beauty and elegance of flowers in her stunningly beautiful book, In Bloom: Creating and Living with Flowers. New Canaan Library is pleased to welcome Ngoc Mihn Ngo on Thursday, December 8, at 6:30 p.m., when she will present her book and the stories of the 11 flower-filled homes that inspired her. The event will take place in the Curtis Gallery; please register online at newcanaanlibrary.org. Copies of In Bloom will be available for purchase, courtesy of Elm Street Books.
In Bloom showcases the stunning work and living spaces of eleven artists, designers, and tastemakers –– from floral arrangements made from foraged greenery and wall paintings evoking Monet’s water lilies to paper flowers that never lose their vibrancy. Be inspired by the nature-filled Italian home of photographer Oberto Gili, and landscape designer Miranda Brooks’ botanically themed, beautiful Brooklyn home, among others.
Ngoc Minh Ngo is a self-taught photographer whose work explores the intrinsic beauty of plants and nature. Her images have been published in international publications such as T Magazine, House & Garden UK, Martha Stewart Living, and Garden Design.
