Artist & instructor Fruma Markowitz returns to lead Cyanotype workshops at the Carriage Barn. In this morning intro session:
Learn the process, experiment and develop your skills. Create prints on paper using the cyanotype historical photographic process.
Learn how the non-toxic cyanotype chemicals (potassium ferricyanide and ferric ammonium citrate) react in exposure to sun/UV light to produce permanent, magical blue and white images.
Use botanical specimens and common objects to produce one-of-a-kind compositions involving both random and intentional mark-marking. The results are surprising, ethereal and delightful!
Members: $75 / Non-members $90 (limited to 8 participants, includes all materials) Followed by Afternoon Advanced Cyanotype Session from 1:30-4:30pm.
Sign up for one or both sessions. Full Day: Members $140 / Non-members $170
