Hands For Life New Canaan is back!

In 2013, nearly 1,000 community members came together and learned to save a life through Hands-Only CPR and AED use at Hands for Life New Canaan.

The New Canaan YMCA, New Canaan EMS, and New Canaan CERT are proudly joining forces to provide this life-saving training to our community once again!

Hands For Life New Canaan is free and open to all!

Training takes only 25 minutes! No advance registration needed!

The Goal

Train as many community members as possible in Hands-Only CPR and AED.

The Impact

Empower community members to take action when someone is experiencing cardiac arrest and save lives!

Hands-Only CPR can double or even triple chances of survival for a cardiac arrest victim.

The Facts

Each year more than 350,000 cardiac arrests happen in the United States outside of the hospital.

About 90% of people who suffer out-of-hospital cardiac arrests die.

CPR, especially performed immediately, can double or triple a cardiac arrest victim’s chance of survival.
