Developing Independence and Confidence in Our Kids: When Parents Step Back, Children Step Up

November 19 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Free

Join us on November 19th, 7-8:30 pm at Saxe, for an inspiring evening with Lenore Skenazy, founder of the Free-Range Kids movement and co-founder and president of Let Grow. Skenazy will share why fostering independence is key to helping children develop confidence, self-reliance, and resilience in today’s world. Drawing on her work with Let Grow, a nonprofit she co-founded with Jonathan Haidt (The Anxious Generation), she’ll offer practical insights and strategies parents can use at home.

This free event is made possible through the generous support of the NCPS PTCs & PFA and New Canaan CARES
