College Applications: The Write Way

The New Canaan Library is pleased to welcome Liz Waltzman of Write Ahead College, LLC presenting a valuable program on the college essay and application process. The event takes place on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. in the Curtis Gallery. Rising juniors and seniors and their parents are encouraged to attend.

This program will provide students and parents insight on writing an effective personal statement, creating persuasive supplemental essays, managing deadlines, and handling the stress of the application process. Practical advice will be offered, drawing on years of experience and professional expertise.

Liz Waltzman, founder of Write Ahead College, LLC, has provided college consulting, application support, and essay coaching to students throughout Westchester and Fairfield counties since 2013. She works with students of all backgrounds and educational interests, utilizing 25 years of experience as a school librarian as well as her own master’s degrees in Arts, Education, and Library Sciences.
