New Canaan Library welcomes author Jeannette Walls, speaking about her latest hit novel, Hang the Moon, which tells the tale of an indomitable young woman, and is set in rural Virginia during the Prohibition era.
Jeannette Walls became a household name with the publication of her memoir, Glass Castle, which remained on the New York Times bestseller list for over eight years. Her following novels, The Silver Star, Half Broke Horses, and Hang the Moon were instant hits, keeping readers engrossed with her skillful storytelling and masterful character development.
The event will begin with a half-hour reception at 6:30pm, followed by the talk at 7pm. Elm Street Books will be onsite to sell copies of Jeannette Walls’s books.
