Sunday, October 27th, at 12pm (rain or shine)
One of New Canaan’s most popular events is the Annual Halloween Parade which will be led by the Old Faithful Antique Fire truck and sponsored by the New Canaan Chamber of Commerce. Ghosts, goblins, fairy princesses and superheroes of all ages are invited to participate.
All marchers gather in the Park Street parking lot to prepare. Goodie bags will be given out until we run out! The parade will kick off at 1pm from the parking lot proceeding to the corner of Park & Elm, then down Elm Street to Main Street, and loop back up Elm Street, which will be closed to vehicular traffic for the event.
Children of all ages, and their dogs, are invited to participate. Grandparents and residents are invited to cheer on the marchers and take lots of pictures of the various, sometimes wholly original, characters.
