You’ve Got Rhythm! Learn the Art and Fun of Family Drum Circles at New Canaan Library

Communal hand drumming has been around for over a thousand years and is still strong today. It promotes stress relief, focus, and working as a team while simultaneously promoting individual creation and much more. New Canaan Library is pleased to present a fun and educational music experience that the whole family, or individuals, can enjoy. Garden of Beats will be at the Library on Saturday, November 5 at 1:30 p.m. to get the beat going. The event takes place in the Adrian Lamb Room; please register online at newcanaanlibrary.org.

Garden of Beats family drum circles are full of high energy rhythm and lots of fun. This program is designed to teach everybody, from kids to grandparents, how to play a hand drum, remember rhythms, create rhythms, and simply play in the moment and have blast doing it.
