Youth Mental Health First Aid Training

November 5, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

On Tuesday, November 5, at the New Canaan Library Lamb Room from 9am-5pm
a youth mental health
first aid training course will be offered through
the harris project. You have the unique opportunity to
join over one million people across America who have
learned skills to build a better foundation for helping those
who may have or may be developing mental health and/or
substance misuse challenges.
Raising awareness about a diagnosis few have heard of—
co-occurring disorders (COD) is the mission of the harris
project , a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. COD is the combination
of one or more mental health challenges and substance
misuse. It is the only nonprofit committed to the integration
of mental health and substance use services. Their focus is on
teenagers, young adults, and their families. The cost is $15.
Breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be provided. For more
information contact Cyra Borsy at 203.966.4515.
