|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, repeating until December 19, 2023

$350

Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is a type of talking therapy. The goal of DBT is to learn how to change your own behaviors, emotions and thoughts that are linked to problems, which cause pain and unhappiness. DBT will help you build these four modules: 1. Mindfulness, 2. Interpersonal Effectiveness, 3. Emotion Regulation, 4. Distress Tolerance. Led by Ellen Arcamone, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, this eight week series will focus on how to identify unwanted thoughts, emotions and behaviors, and replace them with healthier more effective coping strategies.

This is a 12-week class on Tuesday evenings, beginning September 26th.
