Take Your Power Back Through Boundaries – Hosted by Strong Savvy Women

The only people who get upset when you set boundaries, are those who took advantage of you not having them. In this interactive talk by Divorce Coach Amy Polacko we’ll tackle specific situations and give tips on how to set boundaries with family, friends, coworkers, significant others and yes, ex-husbands!
“My goal as a coach is to help women take their power back before, during and after divorce,” says Polacko. “Setting a standard for what you will – and won’t – take is a crucial part of that. I encourage people to bring difficult situations or examples to our meeting to share with others. We all learn from each other.”
The event fee is $20 and registration is required in advance payable through Eventbrite. We hope to see you in person at Hayvn for mingling, refreshments and our talk. However, we also do offer a virtual ticket to watch the presentation on Zoom and be part of the discussion virtually.
Strong Savvy Women meets monthly providing education and support for single, divorced, divorcing or widowed women in our area. Divorce coach Amy Polacko of Freedom Warrior (www.freedomwarrior.info) founded the group to prevent single women from feeling alone. As a coach, she empowers women during/after a divorce or toxic relationship and helps them create an amazing next chapter. Strong Savvy Women is under this umbrella and its Facebook community is free for all women, no matter what stage they are at in the process.
The group’s focus is moving forward – by supporting each other, learning from expert speakers and having fun. Past event topics have included Jennifers’ Law, financial tips, managing the emotional rollercoaster of divorce, co-parenting, insider tips from divorce attorneys, self-love and real estate for single women. In December we held a “Holiday Healing” event at the Salt Cave of Darien; in January, we hosted a “Divorce Success Stories” panel; In February, we had a fun Galentine’s Party in New Canaan.
