It’s a powerful reminder of why this work matters and the real lives behind every home we build\, renovate\, or repair. \nWe are also proud to recognize our 2026 Builder of Hope Honoree\, Lisa Weisenberger. As the founder of Discover Danbury & Candlewood Lake\, Lisa has created a local networking and community engagement group that brings people together\, supports local businesses\, elevates nonprofit organizations\, and inspires meaningful community involvement. She leads\, she serves\, and she inspires. \nThis year’s event is especially meaningful as we celebrate 35 years of Housatonic Habitat for Humanity and 50 years of Habitat for Humanity International\, milestones that reflect decades of opening the door to homeownership\, hope\, stability\, and opportunity for families in our community. \nEvery moment of the evening supports our work to provide safe\, affordable housing and the resources families need to thrive.
