Still Pond Kick-Off Hike

FreeOn Monday, August 5 at 2:30 p.m., the New Canaan community is invited to attend a Kick-Off Hike at the Still Pond Preserve!
Amanda Hill, a New Canaan Girl Scout, will lead the hike. She recently constructed wooden walkways along the Still Pond Preserve trail for her Gold Award project, and she has planned the Kick-Off Hike to share her work, encourage use of the public Land Trust properties, and just have fun outside on a beautiful summer day!
The event will last approximately 1 hour and will include refreshments. To RSVP, email Amanda at amandah2317@gmail.com.
Attendees should park on Pastures Lane (off of Silvermine Road) and meet Amanda at the entrance to the trail, which is located on Silvermine Road right before the turn onto Pastures Lane. They will see a wooden fence and a small parking lot laid with wood chips at the entrance.
