Staying Put Annual Meeting featuring Guest Speaker Marie Allen, President and CEO of the Southwestern Connecticut Agency on Aging.
“The Same as it Ever Was? A Look at Aging Norms Then and Now.” The presentation takes a look at America’s understanding and acceptance of aging in our society. Is it the same as it ever was or have we evolved? Using humor where possible, the presentation features iconic images, commonly held beliefs and public policies from the 1950’s to present day.
