The public is invited to “Spread a Little Joy,” an Arts For Healing benefit concert featuring Sarah Paige Morris on Sunday, June 12, starting at 5:30 pm, with reception to follow at the Carriage Barn Arts Center, Waveny Park, New Canaan,. Arts for Healing is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing integrated music, art, movement and drama therapy to individuals with emotional, physical, developmental and social needs throughout their lives.
A native of Westport and an intern with Arts For Healing, vocalist Sarah Paige Morris received her BA in Music/Musical Theatre in 2012 from Manhattanville College and has just completed her first year in NYU’s Music Therapy Masters program. Morris will play with special guest pianist, Eytan Nisinzweig, a young artist and musician with autism. Nisinzweig has been a piano student at AFH, where he met Sarah last fall. Joining them are pianist Mark Cherry, former Artist in Residence at Manhattanville College, and Jasmine Edwards, an accomplished vocalist from South Florida currently attending NYU’s Music Therapy Masters program.
