Remembrance, Renewal, and Resilience

September 12, 2016 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Free

In commemoration of the 15th Anniversary of 9/11, Grace Farms Foundation is partnering with Voices of September 11th for a public discourse centered on remembrance, renewal, and resilience.

Distinguished speakers and panelists, including Senator Richard Blumenthal, Senator Chris Murphy, Congressman Jim Himes, Ambassador Tim Roemer, survivors, and family members, will discuss their perspectives on the long-standing impact of 9/11 and the current challenges we face. Join us in remembering those whose lives were lost and gain insight into how we can best prepare against, prevent, and recover from acts of terrorism and mass violence.

Registration is required; limited lunches are available for $10 with pre-registration.

About Voices of September 11th:

Voices of September 11th (VOICES) was founded in 2001 to provide information and support to 9/11 families, responders and survivors; to commemorate the lives lost and to promote national preparedness. That work continues today. In addition, through VOICES Center of Excellence for Community Resilience Initiatives, the organization conducts research and training as well as assists communities impacted by other tragedies.
