Music @ New Canaan Library Presents Classical Guitarist Peter Fletcher

Music@New Canaan Library starts the year off with a spectacular afternoon of music by Carnegie Hall performing artist, Peter Fletcher. The event takes place on Thursday, January 31 at 6:30 p.m. in the Adrian Lamb Room. Please register online at newcanaanlibrary.org.

Peter Fletcher’s repertoire includes works by classical composers such as Bach, Walton, and Paganini and transcriptions of classical pieces that have never been played on guitar before. Peter performs more than 100 concerts every year, has recorded several albums for the Centaur and Towerhill record labels.

Peter Fletcher performs more than 100 concerts every year and has toured the country playing at many prestigious venues such as the Firehouse Arts Center in the San Francisco Bay Area, the Pro-Mozart Society Concert Series in Atlanta, GA, and Tryon Fine Arts Center in North Carolina. He has performed 8 solo recitals at Carnegie Hall in New York, NY and released 9 CDs.
