Mixed Media Color Explorations ages 4-6 at the Carriage Barn Arts Center

An event every week that begins at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, repeating until April 27, 2021
Ages 4-6: Three Tuesdays, April 13-27 from 4-5pm
$150 for family members, $165 non-members (all materials provided)
Kids will explore and learn about using COLOR in various media and artistic styles. Weekly projects will incorporate mixing paint, collage and fiber arts while learning about and taking inspiration from historical and contemporary artists.
Each week the group will be inspired by famous artists and experiment in that style and medium to complete a project. Students will work with paint, paper and scissors, fabric and found objects.
This special art class coincides with the Carriage Barn’s “Ode To Color” exhibit. The instructor is New Canaan artist and teacher Anita Bausman. Anita creates a relaxed environment for students to share their ideas, try new things, and express themselves freely.
