Hormonal Harmony: A Holistic Approach

Understanding hormones, your menstrual cycle and your own body’s rhythm can be a lifelong learning process for a woman.
When the body experiences hormonal imbalance, a woman can experience anxiety, depression, weight gain, food cravings, fatigue, low libido, menstrual irregularities, PMS, infertility, chronic fatigue syndrome, anemia, hair loss, moodiness, Hashimoto’s and Graves’ Disease, PCOS, endometriosis…just to name a few.
Hormones act as key messengers to internal balance and flow in the body, and have an effect on digestion, fertility, longevity, natural detoxification, metabolism, mental and emotional balance, sleep and overall wellness.
In this integrative workshop, we will explore causes of hormonal imbalance and how to link various symptoms to hormonal imbalance. You will take away tools to use on a daily basis to feel radiant and energised, which include restorative yoga poses, breathing exercises, how to lessen your ‘toxic load’ and how to chose foods, herbs and supplements to support hormonal balance.
