HAYVN PRESENTS: Healthcare & Hormones – Hosted by Strong Savvy Women

The “Healthcare & Hormones” event will also feature Anne McGuire, R.N.,CCM, who owns Healthcare Pathfinder, LLC a health and long-term care advice, advocacy and management firm. She will be speaking about how to choose healthcare options for single and divorcing women.
“One of our missions at Strong Savvy Women is to educate women and empower them to make the best choices for themselves,” said Amy Polacko, Divorce Coach and founder of the group. “So we will mix essential healthcare information with a fun and enlightening talk on hormones too!”
The event fee is $20 payable through Eventbrite and virtual tickets through Zoom are also available. Register in advance and bring a friend – married friends are invited as well.
Strong Savvy Women meets monthly providing education and support for single, divorced, divorcing or widowed women in our area. Divorce coach Amy Polacko of Freedom Warrior founded the group to prevent single women from feeling alone. As a coach, she empowers women during/after a divorce or toxic relationship and helps them create an amazing next chapter. Strong Savvy Women is under this umbrella and its Facebook community is free for all women, no matter what stage they are at in the process.
The group’s focus is moving forward – by supporting each other, learning from expert speakers and having fun. Past event topics have included Jennifers’ Law, coercive control, financial tips, managing the emotional rollercoaster of divorce, co-parenting, advice from divorce attorneys, self-love and real estate for single women. Attorney Rosemarie Ferrante of the Divorce Mediation Center of Fairfield County, LLC is on the group’s Advisory Board.
Strong Savvy Women usually meets monthly at Hayvn, a women-centered coworking space at 320 Post Road (Suite 180) in Darien, CT. It also holds a smaller Divorce Support Circle on the first Wednesday of the month in Ridgefield, CT.
