Have a (Healthy) Heart: Med Ed at New Canaan Library presents Heart Health and Wellness

February is not just for valentines – it’s also Heart Health month. New Canaan Library is pleased to present a Stamford Hospital Med Ed lecture on the importance of heart health and wellness. The talk will be held on Tuesday, February 7 at 6:30 p.m. in the Adrian Lamb Room. Please register online at newcanaanlibrary.org.

Speaking about the many aspects of heart health will be Evelyn Cusack, MD. Dr. Cusack joined The Heart Physicians, now Stamford Health Medical Group, in 2011. She is the recipient of the 2012 BRAVA award and is responsible for bringing the “Walk With A Doc” program to Stamford to emphasize the role of lifestyle in cardiovascular care. Dr. Cusack is also the Director of Community Outreach for Stamford Hospital.
