May 18, 2019 @ 9:30 am - 12:00 pm$8.50
The New Canaan Food Revolution, inspired by Jamie Oliver returns for a FIFTH year on Saturday, May 18th between 9.30am – 12pm. Cost Per participant is $8.50
The Bravery Passport and Food Trail was created by local resident Rachel Lampen to encourage children of all ages to sample small bites that they would never normally try. Food they haven’t heard of, food that looks or smells different or food that just sounds weird. In previous years, parents have been amazed to see their children’s food barriers broken down as they try everything from Kale Smoothies, to Snails! Nowadays children AND adults are encouraged to participate – as long as you are wearing a special wristband. You earn a stamp for everything you taste and if you complete your passport then you get entered into a prize draw.
This year registration and vendors will be located in front of New Canaan Town Hall with free parking at the back! Enjoy music from Mind The Gap. Proceeds will be going towards New Canaan CARES.
Topic of focus includes: avoiding food waste and recycling! Sponsors include Walter Stewart’s Market and Treasure Hunt Tours.
