4th Scavenger Hunt

June 5 @ 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

The Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum will launch its 4th Scavenger Hunt on Sunday, June 5, 12-4 p.m. at Mathews Park, Norwalk, CT in collaboration with the Center for Contemporary Printmaking, Stepping Stones Museum for Children, Cultural Alliance of Fairfield County and The Norwalk Art Space.

This year, the theme of the Scavenger Hunt is recycling and sustainability. While having fun hunting for clues in Mathews Park, around the exterior facades of all five buildings, and inside the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum, scavenger hunters will learn about different perspectives on “going green” and being aware of the human impact on the environment. Participants will have to bring their “A game” and problem-solving skills to win the top prizes. Children must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian. Recommended for ages 5 and up.

Scavenger Hunt tickets are $5 per person and may be purchased online at or at LMMM on the day of the event. All tickets for the Scavenger Hunt include admission to the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum. No discounts can be offered to LMMM members, but participation will serve as a donation to a great cause! The hunt begins at 12 p.m. with last entry at 3:15 p.m. Prizes will be awarded to the lucky winners at a later date.

The Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum is located at 295 West Avenue in Norwalk. For more information on the Scavenger Hunt, tours, and programs please visit, email, or call 203-838-9799.
