The Project Pink New Canaan Story

In 2023, Julie Stein, a breast cancer survivor and resident of New Canaan, founded Project Pink New Canaan to help raise awareness and much-needed funds for breast cancer research.

Let’s turn New Canaan Pink!

Pink ribbons and lights will adorn over 100+ lampposts in town, turning downtown New Canaan “pink” to increase awareness about this disease and raise funds in support of Breast Cancer Alliance’s life-saving work.

The mission of Project Pink New Canaan

All proceeds from this initiative will be donated to Breast Cancer Alliance, a dedicated organization focused on funding medical research, providing grants, and supporting fellowships to advance the search for a cure for this devastating disease.
