Valentine’s Day is coming up and teddies love slumber parties as much as kids do! New Canaan Library invites you to join in on the fun with its 4th annual Teddy Bear Sleepover fundraiser, Friday night, February 10, 2017. The fee to register is $25 per bear, with all proceeds going to benefit the Library’s Children’s Room. Please register online
The event begins on Friday afternoon with a 3 – 5 p.m. drop off in the Children’s Room of a child’s favorite bear or stuffed animal. When the Library closes at 5 p.m. hidden cameras will record the teddies’ overnight antics. Will they sleep at all? Will the Library survive their mischief? Will they fall in love?
On Saturday morning children and their parents/caregivers can rejoin their stuffed friends at 9:30 AM in the Library and enjoy a delicious breakfast, generously provided by Toddlertime Nursery School. To add to the fun, participants will see on film just what those teddies were up to during their Valentine’s Day slumber party.
