Colonial Day

The New Canaan Historical Society (www.NCHistory.org) will be celebrating its 125th anniversary with a yearlong celebration of programs and activities, including their family-oriented Colonial Day, Saturday, October 11, 11am-3pm, on the grounds of the Historical Society.

Colonial Day will kick off with a costumed Fife & Drum corps, military drill, spinning and weaving exhibitions, Colonial games and activities such as candle-making and quill writing, Colonial dances, general store, and refreshments. All museums will be open, with costumed docents helping to explore 18th century New Canaan with you and your family. Tickets are $10 adult, $5 for children ages 3+, $25 for a 4 person family pass. 3rd Annual Harvest Festival

It’s time for Harvest Fest! Bring your friends and join us as we sample a variety of beers, wine and gluten free beer this year from a variety of regional brewers, delicious food and live music under tents in the meadow at the New Canaan Nature Center.

Tickets are $65 in advance and $80 at the door.
Adults 21 years or older.
